Hello all. I recently burned a XVCD quite successfully, yet have a little question. Using TMPEGEnc I followed the guide on this site, eg. loaded a NTSC template, then unlocked it to change size from 500 whatever by 200 whatever to the largest you can. Ok, so now I have a AVI that I wanna burn to XVCD and Its size, is say 600 by 300 (not the real sizes), should I enlarge the picture to this or the largest possible?
Thankyou kind folk, and a Merry Xmas to you all.

vcd is 320x240. you could enlarge it. i make mine 720x480. however, i encode from a dvd. those avi on the net suck. they're mostly lower than that and if you make it bigger, the picture loses some detail. it will get blurry.

Thanks dude. What you said actually did happen - I enlarged it and it got blurry. However the AVI I got off the net is not to bad-a-quality, bitrate of 1000kb and a size of 576x240. Do you think I should stick to the VCD 320x240 or enlarge it to 576x240?
Cheerz again. -
