  1. I can't get my tmpgenc program to work at all. I have reinstalled twice and went to regedit and took it out completly. I can get to the project wizard and when I load the file (I have tried several) to be converted it freezes up and won't even let me close the program with cntrl/ alt /delete.. I don't have a clue what is causing this as the program worked great, just yesterday. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx so much

I can only think of one thing, since it just started yesterday. Did you install "any" software yesterday? If so, uninstall that software and try again, it may be conflicting with TMPGenc.

  3. Thank you ,
I did a system restore back to the point that I had a week ago. It made no difference and after thinking about it the only thing I had added to my pc was the lame codecs. I can't figure it out. Is there antoher program that you would recommend that is as easy to use as TMPGenc? I have virtual dub but that doesn't convert to mpg, and I don't really get the LSX encoder. But I guess I will have to learn it.
Thank you for your time 8)

  4. What kind of file are you trying to load (i.e. avi., vdr., etc.)? Are you frameserving? If so, what frameserver are you using?

  5. I tried to load avi, mpg, none of which will load for me with tmpgenc, it freezes. I don't know what happened. It worked yesterday but frooze up when I used the slider to set the end frame. Today the whole program freezes before I even get to the load a file in it. I have uninstalled it, went to regedit and took it out completly and reinstalled it. I still have the same problem.
I am not doing any frameseriing, I never have and don't know what that is all about yet, I was just starting to read on that subject. I am just a newbie I have been sticking to the easy stuff so far, then I ran into this problem.
    Thank you
