    First I would like to say hi to all
    I have looked around on the forum and don't see my question asked, let alone answered in here. I am new to this and I have only burned about 30 avi's and mpg's to vcd. The question I have, is how do I get fast forward to work on the burned vcd when I play it in my stand alone player? It won't do anything but send me back to the start of the vcd when I push fast forward.

    This is usually due to each dvd player on whether it will let you fast forward and not the VCD. my player will let me ffwd VCD's at 3x but on dvd it can go 4x.
