    When i extract a wav in doirect stream mode in Virtual dub,rename to *.ac3 and try to convert to wav with Azid,it says canīt find synch all the time,and the end file is only 44 kb large,i hae tried everything,what can i do? I need a wav i can use in TMPGenc to convert an avi.

    you need to use full stream mode

    Canīt do that,then virtualdub says unknown stream format, that is why i use the direct stream copy,so i can rename the direct stream wav to *.ac3 then convert the file with Azid,then i get a workable wav. I CANNOT use the drirect stream wav,as every program i try say unknown format,and i have all codecs installed.

    you sure it was a ac3 file to start with ?

    No, but whenever i have an avi i canīt "full process" with virtualdub i use direct stream and it always works..I know the file is encoded in divx 5.02,and i have that codec..
