Unsuported file format (HELP!)

i have a problem...im new to this whole burning thing but anyways im using nero express 5.5.5.9 and when i want to make a VCD i klick "add" to add a movie and i get this error message "unsuported file format" i dunno what that means but it wont let me add the movies...the movies are (divx).avi.......does that mean i have to convert them to mpeg or mpeg2 or something? If so, how do i do that is there a special program or???

That's what the problem is: the files must be MPEG-1 for Nero to accept as VCD video files. So, you should convert your Divx movies to MPEG first. You can use TMPGEnc for this.
