  1. Hi all,
I've been using NVDVD 2.20 for playing DVD's recently, and all was well until I installed InterVideo WinTVR - now NVDVD gives me an error when I try to use the DVD-player part of it, saying it can't open the DirectShow graph or similar. I noticed that .m2v files in Windows Media Player were using the InterVideo video & audio codecs...so I uninstalled InterVideo, uninstalled and re-installed NVDVD, but still got the same error...then I noticed that WMP was still using the InterVideo codecs...

...so how do I uninstall these codecs, as the InterVideo uninstall clearly isn't doing so, so that I can re-install NVDVD and it's codecs?

    Thanks.

  2. Try DXMAN at www.analogx.com

    That's what I use.

What I am really looking is how to tell windows what codec to use which is better.

I have seen in may computer elencard mainconcept Cyberlink ligos codecs

The best way it would be to learn how to control them.

    But for now use DXMAN

  3. Excellent - I've just downloaded this and I can see both the InterVideo & nVidia codecs I think I'll get a reg dump before I uninstall them, so I can run a comparison when NVDVD is installed, so I can switch between the two set sof codecs by running a small reg file...

    Thanks for the help
