I'm having a problem with DVD Workshop regarding menu music.
My movies on DWS-created discs play fine through my audio system (I use Besweet/TMPGEnc to render mpegs with AC-3).
But the music on my menus is silent unless I use my DVD player's analog outputs and my receiver's analog inputs.
Apparently my DVD player's D/A converters can recognize the menu music, but my receiver's digital surround circuitry can't. DWS can't accept AC-3 audio files by themselves (they have to be pre-muxed with the video), so I've been using WAV files.
Even though WAV/PCM is a standard DVD-compliant format, my surround receiver still can't detect it. Can someone tell me exactly what specs to use when creating a wav file so a standard surround receiver can play it?
Thanks....
