I'm considering installing this on my system. Wondering if it'll cause any problems with TMPGEnc, VirtualDub, P2P programs, etc.
Thanks

Not that there is a "general" W2k problem, even if it's impossible to say that it'll work together with your hardware.
IMHO, w2k is the best OS offer from MS to date.

It works OK, but keep a small particion with w98se also. It always helps...

I run Win2000 Pro and use KazzaLite, DVD2AVI, VirtualDub, TMPGenc, CCE, DVD2SVCD, FitCD, CHapterXtractor, Smartripper, bitrateViewer, etc., etc.,
I have never had a problem with any of them. It depends on your hardware as well though, Win2000 can be a bit more picky then win98se.
Win2000 Pro is also very stable.
Good luck,

I had a problem with my RAID motherboard until i realised i just needed to install the right driver (although this revelation came about during the setup!). When you install win2000 it checks your hardware anyway so you should not have a problem.

I doubt you will have any problems. Only if your hardware is quite old. If you do have any problems there are loads of forums on the net that can help with this Just do a search in google for "win2000 forum" or something like that. You can also get loads of help from the newsgroups.
