  1. Somebody plz help me! ive doebloaded a couple of divx avi movies from kazaa! I was watchng the disney movie Spirit on Windows Media player! and the video was pretty clear and the movie was sound was not 2 great! the movie runs not to bad but when i get to half of the movie (always) thats when the problem starts! [u]THE VIDEO RUNS FASTER THAN THE SOUND![/u] The audio is about 6 seconds late ! So the sound gets all out of sync!! it it stays this way throught the rest of the movie!! it ried watching some other divx avi movies and the same thing happens Plz can someone tell me what is the problem and how can i fix it!! do i need to install a divx codec or a avi player??? what do i need to do!! plz can u help !! asap

  2. Make sure you have the correct codecs installed to watch those Divx movies.

    Go to the left and under TOOLS you'll find a program called GSpot. It will tell you all about the file and codecs.

    I just had a similar issue with an avi file I downloaded. Ended up being it was using the Xvid codec (which I did not have installed, but do now!)

  4. Their is no "best" codec to use. You need the specific codec that the file was made with.

    Your best bet is to click on TOOLS at the left, scroll down to the codecs and get the NIMO CODEC. This is actually a bunch of codecs all piled into a single download.

    As far as a player, use whatever you want. I use either Windows Media Player or ATI File Player (since I have an ATI vid card).

    There are other players available. Again, goto the TOOLS link and have a look.
