new mega-changer DVD player won't play 2nd disk

My new Sony DVD Mega-changer (DVP-CX875P) plays my DVD-R's except for disk #2. Backups that required 2 disks and play fine on my older players won't play on the 875. Disk #1 plays fine but #2 won't. I normally use decrypter to rip and burn and use IfoEdit for everything else. If I use DVDit (home movie) on a 2 sided disk it works fine. It must be a software issue.

Is anyone else having trouble with the Sony Mega-changers?

if you load only the 2nd disk and play it first -- does it play ?
