I am using the avermedia studio card with virtual dub and it wouldn't let me go larger than 320 by 240... is there a way that i can fix this or is there a program that will let cap at 640 by 480??? i want to be able to capture with the huffy codec as well not mpeg.... thanks in advance

According to your system specs you are running WinXP which means you are using wdm drivers with your AverTV card. You should try using a wdm-based capture app (iuvcr, amcap, or virtualvcr) instead of virtualdub, which is a vfw-based app. Virtualdub uses the so-called "vfw mapper" with wdm drivers and this could be the cause of your limited capture resolution. If you still have problems with a wdm-based app, make sure your drivers are up to date or try a different driver such as the btwincap version.
