  1. i just did one avi and it worked great, now i am having problems with all my others. when i go to split the cd in tmpg there is no video or audio shown and if i try in load the file in virtual dub i get some vbr audio error what can i do to fix this

    "Some VBR error" is a little vague, but it sounds like you have an AVI (DivX) with MP3 audio. VirtualDub is complaining because the MP3 was encoded as VBR instead of CBR. To fix this, set your Audio to FULL PROCESSING, and then select FILE | SAVE AS WAVE. This will net you a WAV extract from your AVI.

    If you want to retain the audio in MP3 format, select DIRECT STREAM COPY in the Audio settings, and select FILE | SAVE AS WAV, only this time, name your saved file with a .MP3 extension.

    All of this assumes, of course, that the error above is in regards to VBR MP3 encoding.

    Can you be a little more specific than "some vbr error" ?
