I live in England so I use PAL VCD's.
However I'm taking my portable VCD player (mercury MP3/VCD player) to California USA to hook up to my TV in the hotel room.
I'm wondering whether to reburn the VCD's as NTSC or keep them as PAL. Any ideas?
There is a NTSC setting on the VCD player but I have never used it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Si

I don't know about your specific player, but if it has an NTSC function, it has a better than average chance of being able to convert the PAL video and output an NTSC signal. If so, you don't need to convert your VCDs.
