Hi all,

Wondering if there are any WinOnCD 6.0 DVD Edition users out here ? If so are you able to create DVD-Videos, Video CDs and Super VCDs with animated buttons and menus to a depth of 98 levels ?

I did create a VCD with menu but don't know how to edit the menu where I can add text and number the icons so that it would look like one you see in a DVD Movie you rent.

Hi, did u do a photo VCD? Does diz latest version reduces e high picture flickering found in slideshows created by ver 3.8pe? Thanks.

No there is no flickering in this latest version of Winoncd.

I am talking about Winoncd DVD edition and not the winoncd 6 Power Edition.

Hi, I hv juz successfully created a photo vcd using winoncd 6 dvd edition. Not bad, the flickering I was worried about was much reduced compared 2 the 3.8pe, although at diz moment, dvd pictureshow is still better in terms of picture flickering... But as I hv mentioned in another post, only winoncd has the feature to spread the background music to the no. of photos selected, so this is still my preference for photo vcd.

Based on the roxio website, e dvd edition has everything of pe version & more, so I think there's no difference between the 2 in the photo album module. Here r some of my comments on winoncd 6 photo (mostly compared with 3.8pe):

1. The animated menus looks great, although it takes a much longer time to encode. I wonder if I can select my own music...

2. In browser view, the thumbnails are not sorted in a proper order. Not sure how to specify the sorting order (eg. by name, date, etc)

3. Properties setting are for an individual photo, and not for all photos in that album. if need to change properties for all photos, need to select all by mouse and then change the setting. Worst still, if u add new photos, remember to change the setting too...

4. The information of the no. of photos in the album is omitted (I wonder why...). Need to do some counting work...

5. Unable to change font properties for Main Menu. Main title doesn't allow spaces between words and limited in the no. of characters...

6. In the album, to change sequence of photos, need to move thumbnails one by one. Unable to select a few and move together...

7. To preview a photo in the album, need to do 2-steps instead of juz double-clicking it...
