  1. Hey guys,

I have windows 98 installed with Fat 32. If I convert my movie into DVD format, the mpeg will be over 4 gigs which is passed the file maximum for fat 32. Does tmpgenc split the files up, or do I need to upgrage to win2000
    with NTSF file format?

    Thanks!

Ive done a few movies with tmpgenc using 98se, the largest movie (video file) Ive encountered has been 3.8Gb which allows for the addition of a couple of ac3 soundtracks, Im presently doing Dinotopia which is a 4hr movie with a 400 Mb ac3 sountrack, so for me it has'nt been an issue.

Also tmpgenc will not split the >4Gb files, it will just crash in error.
