    downloaded a avi....can watch film with wmp....but when i
    want to encode with tmpg into mpg the screen is black.
    He starts encoding but the screen remains black?

    Any suggestions?

    didn`t work......read that before....

    wanted to encode it as VCD Pal

    Source information:

    PAL 25 fps, 640*272

    did you try this?

    Try first to change the codec reader settings in TMPGEnc under Option->Environmental settings->VFAPI plug-in and right click on the DirectShow Multimedia File Reader and increase the priority to 1 or 2 and try open the video

    and why the hell can i view the damn file in windows media player
    but can`t convert it?
