  1. i don't know how to maken a 2 part vcd file with ulead dvd workshop, can someone explain to me or tell where i can find info.

    What i want is:
from a dvd file captured with wintv pvr250 or a svcd/vcd file making 2 mpeg vcd files with chapters and menu's. I know that i can do this with "cut title" and "trim" mark in and mark out but i don't know how i do this. What is the difference between mark in and mark out and title cut?
Must i burn a title and then the other title on another cd? Must i make chapters for both titles? or do i need only one title and split the dvd file of vcd file another way?

Which is the order to make two mpeg files for 2 cdr's with chapters and a menu? and how?

  2. Hi, I suggest dowmnloading the manual from Ulead site. Page 40 to 48 deal with this issue. But basically what you do is drag the clip from the Library ( on left in Edit panel ) onto a placeholder ( bottom section of edit panel ). Ensure this is highlighted and play the video to the point where you want to make a break then click on the "Cut Title" icon. This will put 3 movies in the placeholder section. One will be the whole movie, One the first part of the seperated movie and the 3rd the last part of the seperated movie. You can find out which is which by doubleclicking on each and watching the length of the green line under the preview window. If you want just the two parts, delete the whole one, then go on to the menu section. You can of course break it up more if you want.
    Hope this helps.

  3. Thanks for the answer. I understand so far that "cut title" is breaking the file into two peaces. When i finsih the movie wich part will he finish? Must i finish both parts?

And another question is: what does the TRIM funktion do: mark in en mark out? This is not the same as "cut title" .
