When editing the avisynth script I have a little confusion about what size exactly I should resize to (before adding the borders). Let's say I'm taking a 640x272 DivX file 23.976 fps, when inputting this to FitCD and setting the resize destination to SVCD, the program suggets using a 278 horizonal size. When inputting the file to TMPG and setting everything to match NTSC SVCD specs, the output will have the same original 272 horizonal lines. That's even more confusing when I set FitCD destination to XVCD or CVD (1/2 DVD), because then it will also suggest the 272 size.
Now I'm really confused, when encoding to SVCD - what program should I believe to, to maintain the most accurate aspect ratio?
