  1. Hi i am a newbie here, and i'll i'm asking if someone could help me play my SVCD on my panasonic RP56. i've tried the vcd heading trick and the picture looks better (less of that green stuff) then my normal SVCD 2.0.

However the Tricked out VCD does not play well on my Samsung DVD-V2000 as did the SVCD 2.0 played perfect.

I want to have the best quality of the movie i'm making, i don't want blurry VCD quality, and I have already tried making an XVCD however, on the dvd players list it says that my panasonic can play XVCDs at 2500 kbit.

However I can't get any burning software to fit a huge 0.99 GB file on a 700 mb disc, so i have to convert it to a bin. however it won't do it because it has too many sectors.

Sorry if i posted too much and tried to confuse you, but i just wanted to supply as much info as possible.
    Replies are greatly appreciated.

There's no way to get a 0.99GB mpg file on a 700MB disc. Try splitting it up for 2 CDs, e.g. with TMPGenc's MPEG tools.

  3. No you don't understand, Then that would make the XVCD 4 CD's because the file that takes up 999 mb is only half of the movie.
