  1. I have used the process on this site get my DVD player to recognize a SVCD by modifing with the file with VCD front end. The player recognizes the Disc as a VCD and plays but for the first 2 or 3 minutes plays like it is stuttering After which it plays great. I played the same discs on my computer using PowerDVD and they work perfectly. Any ideas on how to make them work on this DVD player which is a Panasonic PV-D4741.

  2. i've had this same problem, can't remember the exact solution tho. pretty sure it's a bitrate problem, either sometihg (audio or video) is too high or maybe it doesn't like the method you used (i.e. VBR). i think you have to use the standard VCD header as opposed to the non-standard also.

    hope this helps

I think it is that your dvd player is too slow.
With a vcd your dvd hasent to be fast.
This means your bitrate of video and audio are too high
    try lowering it a bit.
