  1. I'm using ifoedit 95 and I can't seem to get any DTS soundtracks to work. Is this a common problem or am I just doing something wrong?

    Thanks

  2. I don't know if this is the same problem as yours...This is the first time I've done DTS tracks...I ripped all the other tracks out except the DTS track and when I play the film in ifoedit I get DVD Warning: The decoder does not support the new format. When I open the vob in vobrator or power dvd it has no sound either. If anyone can help with this..thanks!

  3. DTS works fine with Ifoedit 95. Your powerdvd need DTS audio pack. Bundled power dvd doesn't have DTS pack. I authored several DVDs having DTS track with Ifoedit. I didn't have any problem except one (audio sync problem)

  4. I went to the cyberlink site to check which packs I have and it came back with this...

Your Cyberlink PowerDVD Version is 4.0
    Audio Capabilities:
    Number of Channels: 6
    Support SRS TruSurround XT: Yes
Support Dolby Pro Logic II: Yes
    Support DTS Digital Surround: Yes
    Support Dolby Headphone: Yes
It has been detected that you currently have all the audio features available for PowerDVD XP 4.0.

so I guess maybe there is something wrong with the way I did the DTS track..

One last question...when you previewed your dvd in ifoedit were you able to hear the dts audio or did you get the error like I did?

    Thanks again for the help!

  5. I don't think Ifoedit can play DTS track in preview but not sure. I used power dvd for preview. I load VIDEO_TS.IFO file into power dvd from the authored files. Then power dvd play the authored dvd. You can enable info display from the menu and can see which audio track is currently playing. You can change the audio track in "language" menu.

  6. When I have ripped just the movie and dd and dts soundtracks with ifoedit, I can't hear the dts. I haven't really tried on windvd, but on my standalone dvd player it won't work. My dvd player has played purchased dts dvds, but not the ones I burn. The dd5.1 works just fine.
