  1. Am using the latest one... It can de-multiplex from VOB to m2v(video) and ac3(audio). Great...

But when using ac3 in Tmpgenc, it wont accept it. It says unsupported?

Tried DVD2AVI from smrtripper... and it also creates ac3 as audio.

I dont know what to do with ac3...

  2. not sure what you are trying to do with the ac3 file but if you go to mpeg tools. you can convert the ac3 file to a mpeg so Tmpgenc will accept it....

Download BeSweet and also get the BeSweetGUI program and put it into the same directory. BeSweet is a front end to a bunch of sound-related programs. With it you can convert AC3 to Wav which you can add to TMPGenc before the encoding; or you can make a .mp2 file in BeSweet (recommended) and then mux with the video-only encode in TMPGenc's MPEG Tools menu option after the encoding is done.

The BeSweetGUI has lots and lots of options but basically I leave everything I don't understand at the default value and it seems to work well that way.
