  1. I downloaded .mpg file and I need to know it's specifications, i.e. fps, dimensions, ntsc or pal

    I tried vistualdub but it takes a VERY long time with .mpg files, is there another program that can display this info fast?

    I believe that bitrate viewer can show that information.

    Open it in TMPGEnc and look at the bar along the bottom of the screen.

    Use TMPGEnc. Open it, select File-->New Project. The load your video as video input, and the file info will be displayed on the screen near the bottom.
