I tried several media from all over the net and found Accu DVD-R is the best.
The media says 1X but burns at 2X ( Note: only with firmware F upgrade)
Costs 80cents from http://www.meritline.com/ac47dvsilbla1.html (for limited time they are offering FREE SHIPPING)
Plays on almost all Standlone players (I tested five of them)
I have a old Panasonic A120 and thats my benchmark; If any DVD plays on it than it plays on other 2 I have and 3 others from my friends place.
I am compiling more data on this media, please if anyone have any info on this media; Thanks and happy ripping !!!
