dvd+rw playing problem

ok, this is what i did. i used dvd2svcd to rip the dvd and create the m2v and ac3 files. i then used spruceup and then ifoedit to resize the video to 16:9. i previewed the vob files using wma and powerdvd. both worked fine with it. finally i used nero to burn a dvd udf/iso 1.02 with the video_ts and audio_ts directories created. after this i tried the dvd+rw on my ps2 and it said disk read error. i tried to play it using wma and it crashed, as did interactual. the only player that worked was powerdvd. this is really confusing me. can anyone help me out here?

I have had the same problems with DVD+RW (still have even)

I found out that my Playstion 2 coulden't play the DVD+RW which came bundled with my Sony DRU-500A.

So I tried HP DVD+R with succes.
