Could someone recomend a good inexpensive capture card for just capturing from VHS to MPEG1?

There are hundreds of posts on this site on that topic and I believe nearly every type of card has been mentioned numerous times. Do some searching and I'm sure you will find the answers you need.
My personal choice is the PVR250 which is a real time hardware encoder as I don't need to edit my VHS captures but it is not cheap. I've read good things about the Pinncale PCTV cards.
