My player doesn't seem to play NTSC Film VCD's correctly and if I encode at 29.96FPS the audio is out of sync. Do I use 3:2 Pulldown? How do I do this...the source is 23.97 fps. I am using TMPGenc. I have made succesful VCD's but I still consider myself a newbie who needs step by step instructions!
Thanks in advance,
Justin Ward

You need to convert your audio in Virtualdub to a wav. then use it as your audio source in TmPEGenc. Do a short five miute test to see where the audio sits in sync and thwn use Cooledit to add or subtract the difference to the sound. Its a bit of work but it works.
