    i just finished all the step according to the guide dvd9 to dvd5 , i got the vob files but two thing happened :
    1. the size of the files i got are 4.54 GB (4,877,365,290 bytes
    but this problem i think i can solve by lower the birate AM I WRONG ???

    2. The second problem which is the BIG BIG problem - i got a delay of 2.5 minutes in the sound , this problem happened to me also when i done it 4 times already i realy need help so please help me.

    if the film is 4.54 gb you could try cutting off the credits with vobsplit to reduce it to under 4.37gb. as for the sound you need to go into more detail which programs did you use? i've backed up lots of dvd's with ifoedit and have never had any sound problems.

    i used thouse programs according to dvd9 to dvd5 guide :
    smartripper
    dvd2avi
    vfapi
    cce onepass vbr and then again cce but multipass vbr
    dvd fusion

  4. The sound sync is probably to do with you not stripping an unnecessary vob id from the start of the film. When running it through DVD2AVI check what vobids are required for the film only strip anything else out.
