Sony DRU-500A and Instant CD/DVD Problem - No disk

Hello,

I just bought the new ony DRU-500A drive. Previously I owned a Pioneer A04, and I always used the VOB Instant CD/DVD 6.5tool, which I personaly find excellent.

The problem is that although the software recognises the new drive (the Sony DRU-500A one), it keeps stating that there is no disk in it.

Is there a compatibility problem? Nevertheless, I read that other people are using Instant DVD with the drive.

I would really appreciate if you could give me a hand on that one.

I use Win XP professionnal, but I don't think that the problem comes from that, as previously the Instant CD recognised the Pioneer drive and the disk in it normaly.

(I also burn DVD films with nero without any problem).

UPDATE!!!

I contacted VOB, and they said to me that a new registry version will be out next week, so the Sony drive will be plainly supported.

Is there anyone who uses already InstantDVD with the DRU-500A?
