Cant get divx to vcd conversion to keep aspect ratio.

Whenever I convert a video, from divx or dvd.. It always comes out streatched out of porportions..
I am currently trying to figure out how to do this:
Widescreen divx, encoded with xvid and ac3 audio.
Want to convert to mpeg1 vcd compliant video

I can get everything to work, all codecs installed, but can not get it to keep the 16:9 ratio of wide screen it comes out streatched and full screened.

I use tmpegenc to convert.

It is driving me nuts please help.

In TmpGenc, click the settings button. On the advanced tab set video arrange method to 'Full screen (keep aspect ratio)'

Ohh... thats what I should set it at thank you! My videos will no longer be streatched out of shape.
