  1. What is the easiest way to make additional copies of a DVD +RW?

I am creating a bunch of DVD's from MiniDV using Studio DV version 8, and I have been deleting the project files to conserve disk space. Now I need to take all the DVD +RW's and make multiple copies of each.

    Thanks.

  2. Almost any software that can create DVD+R/+RW has a utility that can copy. I always create on DVD+RW, check it, as it's often a video project, then move it to DVD+R. With Roxio I can select the number of copies I want. I use it most.

  3. Thanks for the reply - I foung that Roxio Easy CD Creator will make copies in pretty good time.

Just curious - Why do you use DVD +R at all? They are more expensive than DVD +RW, and once you burn the DVD, doesn't it close the disc preventing you from writing to it anyway?

I have been using DVD +RW for all my "permanant" movies. Tell me if there is something I am missing here.

  4. DVD+R are CHEAPER than DVD+RW.
DVD+R have a higher compatability rate on dvd drives/players.

  5. russwcj -

Where are you buying your DVD+R discs. At CompUSA & Best Buy the DVD+R discs are $4 more for a 5-pack than the DVD+RW's.

One problem I am having though, is I am using Easy CD Creator to make copies (DVD+R to DVD+R), and the copies are turning out corrupted. It says copy was successfull, but when I try to play it, it crashes my PC, and I can't eject unless I turn off PC - I can't even do a shut down - I have to turn off power.

Could this be the discs ( I am using Memorex discs), or is it the Easy CD Creator? Is there a better way to copy. I don't have enough disc space to leave the Stuidio project on my disc.
