Hi,
I am trying to create SVCD from DV format. Here is what I do:
1. I capture my footage from DV camera using Ulead Video Studio 6.0. It captures into AVI file in DV-1 format.
2. Then I convert it to DV-2 format to be able to open it in VirtualDub (I also have MainConcept Codec installed).
3. To make SVCD using CCE (CinemaCraft) I have to resize it to 480x480 first. So, I frameserve it from VirtualDub to CCE.
The problem is that I can't open VDR file in CCE. It gives me an error: AviFileOpen error 0x80070485. I have tried to open VDR file by VirtualDub itself and it worked out. That makes me thing that something is wrong with CCE or something else.
I have been through many posting here and other forums but I couldn't figure out why CCE can't open VDR file in my case.
Thank you for the advice.
Alex.

hey! what CCE are you using? the only one with which you can do this is 2.50. You can't open .avs nor .vdr files with the others. This method takes too long n e ways, there is a better method to do it, very similar - less time consuming and same results.
