This weeks question is: What do you do when vcdhelp.com is down? Please don't answer with, I don't come here. I'm looking for your alternative to vcdhelp or your reaction to the downtime.

My response: I attempt to visit the site every 5 min. I bet I try at least 100 times on a downtime day to access the site. I do not goto other forums or anything. Sometimes I go outside. I forgot what sunlight looks like.

Seriously though, at first I thought my internet connection was just ******* up so I logged on to mIRC and into #vcdhelp on efnet where I was informed by the big man himself Baldrick that it was the DNS so then I went downstairs and watched some Simpsons on FoxTel.

I would have went outside but it was like 2:00 am over here

This time I spend some time on http://www.sonydru500a.com/ too. It some kind of "Sony DRU-500A unofficial site". And of course on http://www.cdrlabs.com/ too. Again.

I either go play Magic The Gathering Online, or EQ, one of which I was likely doing before I came here. Then when I get tired I start something encoding and goto bed.

Actually 9 times out of 10 thats not true cause I check from work, in those cases I go straight to bed.

Then check refdesk.com to see if it's my dsl. If it's working, I look at my computer that I bought just for video and at it 'cause it won't work and I don't know how to get it to work. Then at it and then am because I feel like I should know how.

It's a vicious cycle.
