    I have ripped a film and used the SVCD template which I loaded using the load button on TMPGenc.

    Now the new Nero 5.5.4.0 now surports SVCD I burned the movie using this option. However, when I play it in my stand alone DVD player it is good quality however it judders / jumps.

    Can somebody please explain whether I have got to do anything, as it would appear my DVD player will play this SVCD format.

    Make sure that if it is being done in 29.97 fps that you are using the inverse telecine option in tmpgenc.
