    Can anyone reccommend the best software/settings etc? Thx. Also im using the 5.20 drivers and it seems that Virtualdub does not work with these drivers

    Hi! I'm also using PCTV-PCI card. The driver that comes w/ your card is WDM and doesnt work with VDub since it uses the VFW driver. There is a workaround on this but you have to download the driver at sourceforge.com for the connexant 8*8 chipset. If you dont want to do this, you can use instead VirtualVCR for AVI capture (this prog works great) @ www.digtv.ws or you can do it with progs like PowerDirector, Ulead VS6 or Power VCR etc for capping MPEG2 or AVI format. Then encode your caps to TMPGenc or CCE etc.

    Among the three last mentioned progs, seems to me that PowerDirector captures better.
