  1. Does anyone know an adress, where I can download an MPEG2 Plugin for TMPGENC? or a usefull way how I can handle the link on the Tool-Section in this site? I didnt figure it out....

    The best solution is to frameserve when you need to re-encode mpeg 2 files.
    Use dvd2avi for this. You can found the proggy on the Tools section and how to do it on the convertion section of this site.

    If you install PowerDVD, (or was it WinDVD - I keep forgetting, but I'm pretty sure it's Power (gotta mark that sector of my brain as damaged )), TMPGEnc will use the MPEG2 decoder of PowerDVD to decode MPEG2 input.

    Yep, install powerdvd and you can open mpeg2 in tmpgenc.
