  1. Hey there,

I am fairly new to this whole thing. I have avi's that I convert to VCD using TMPGEnc. The initial file is usually about 400mg and after I encode it, it often exceeds 800/900mg. So, when I try to burn using Nero, it is too big for the disk. I am wondering if I am missing some setting that will compress the files more or is this the norm.
    Thanks a lot!!

  2. answer this questions and maybe I can help.

    1. How long in minutes is this file?

If it is less than 80 minutes it will fit on an 700mb/80min cd-r.
If it is more than 80 minutes you have to cut it into two or more pieces (cd-r)

If you need to cut it into pieces click on edit (to your left).

Let me know if I can help
