    Excellent Site.
    I am wanting to burn copies of my DVDs to SVCD Format on blank CD-R's. Can you use a CD recorder/DVD rom COMBO drive to do this? Or do you have to have 2 separate drives?

    You should be able to use the combo drive.
    As you are going to use both fiunctions, but not at the same time.
    I would suggest you do some reading. Start with the What is then move onto the How to. Which are on the left side of page. Then if you have more qustions ask. Their is a wealth of info here. And it will take some time to comprehend it all.
