Hi
I canīt play an avi file because of a missing vfw compatible codec.
This is what Virtual Dub tells me when I try to figure out the problem with the file:
"Couldnīt locate decompressor for format XVID (unknown)
Virtual Dub requires a Video for Windows (vFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by WIndows Media Player, are not suitable"
So is the SVID-format the issue or that I miss a VFW--format.
Note: I can open severeral other avi files both in Virtual Dub and avi players. This was the first time this problem occured.
Hope you can help me.
Regards
/i
