    I have been wroking with this program for 2 days and everytime I converrt a AVI file, it will only wrtie it to my hard drive nad not write it on the CD????

    TmpGenc is a software mpeg encoder, not an authoring program nor a CD writing program. Better do what ZippyP suggests.
