  1. Put a DivX movie onto either DVD or SVCD.

Hi I've got a DivX movie that I'd like to put onto either DVD (I have DVD burner) or SVCD (CD Burner as well).

What would be the quickest method ?

I was simply going to put it through TMPGENC and save as separate Audio and Video streams, and then create a DVD via DVDMaestro ? Is this the best way ?

    - If this is ok, what are the optimal settings to encode at ?

Or I was thinking or pulling this DivX into Premiere 6.5 and then export the video and audio that way.

Any hints, tips, links to How To's much appreciated.
    Cheers

    Andy

  2. There is no 'best' or 'greatest' way for anything in this line of business. The method/process/tools that you find the easiest/most powerful/most suitable to your needs is what matters. There are many guides on this site and others that you may find useful. Basically all you can do is try the different tools and methods described in those guides until you find one that best suits your needs. You may even develop your own method from the many tools and guides available once you learn what each tool can and cannot do. Experiment and have fun but be patient and expect some failures along the way.
