I replaced my Philips CD-RW drive with a Sony DRU-500A drive and updated to the latest firmware version 1.0f. This drive appears to be working as I tested it by playing a short-segment of a DVD movie. It played fine. Now when I open Nero (5.5.9.0) it doesn't recognize this drive as a drive that it can write to. I uninstalled and then reinstalled Nero hoping that that would work, but it didn't. What am I missing here?

I updated to Nero 5.5.9.17 (their latest version) and now Nero recognize my DRU-500A DVD +/- RW drive.
