I originally made many SVCD's (DVD2SVCD) and ripped English as subtitle #1. What I'd like to do now is take those burned SVCD's and move another sub to #1, move English to sub-2, and re-burn. Is there an easy way to do this? I want to keep things like chapters intact.
FYI, here's the reason why. I wanted the option of subtitles, so I ripped English. But if my Apex player sees a subtitle, it defaults to turning ON sub-1. This means every time I put in a new CD, sub-1 comes on and I have to manually turn it off. The only other option was to not include subs, but I thought I'd use them occasionally (but not regularly). I had also tried setting English as sub-2 but it gets moved to sub-1 automatically. Well after doing at least 40 movies, I had an idea which solved my problem. I created a 'blank' subtitle, and now when a conversion is done, I re-do the last 2 steps, putting my blank subtitle as sub-1 and English as sub-2. Now when I play a movie, it plays sub-1 which is blank... and if I want English subs on, I switch to sub-2. This works great, but I sure wish I could go back and fix all my previous conversions. Can anyone help?
PS. I don't know much about manually authoring my SVCDs, I let DVD2SVCD do it automatically.
Thanks!
