    I've got a movie I'm trying to join so I recut it, but I'm getting the,
    "VirtualDUB has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the
    source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with.....", error
    message. Now, because of this error, I'm unable to Append the
    segments.

    What's my next step in joining these two halves of a movie,
    using VirturalDUB?

    TIA
    Why doesn't this work?

    Have you tried using AViSynth to join the movie halves together. If you have, have you tried to extract the audio, join it in Gold Wave, then use TMPGEnc to Merge your movies aling with remuxing the audio with it?
    Hello.

    Hi Tommyknocker

    Reading info on AViSynth, it seems a lil complicated. If I understand what
    you're talking about with Gold Wave? I've already extracted the audio using
    VirtualDUB into WAV files. Merging the audio seems like no problem. But
    what would I do about the video? How would I merge those two halves?

    Thanks again for all the help!
