  1. I initially started editing some home video clips from vhs into many different clips to filter out good and bad and make custom dvd's for clips that are relevent for them for my relatives...

    I took the same approach you'd take for authoring a svcd. However, i just looked into some dvd authoring software and it appears to usually take in a single mpeg file and you break it into chapters.

    Is there software that allows you to import multiple mpeg2 clips which are dvd complient and have buttons on a menu link to each clip?

  3. okay... so the process is very similiar to making svcd's then...

    What about audio demultiplexing... If i wanted to have the clips stored on a harddrive so i could burn a dvd from a list of clips should i demultiplex the audio?

    Do programs like DvdIt automatically demultiplex the audio if you haven't already? But this would take additional processing and therefore if i intend on burning a clip multiple times should i demultiplex them
