I have done conversions before, but it seems to be pretty hit or miss.
The AVI I have is 23.976 frames/sec and the resolution is 640x288. It is a widescreen (16:9) format. I am using TMPEncg to convert it to an MPEG-1 so I can burn it to a VCD. The problem I am having is that no matter what combination of settings I use for the Aspect Ratio and Source Aspect Ratio when I burn it using Nero as a VCD the image, when I play it in my DVD player is at the top of the screen (rather than centered) and over to the left side. I have done this before but can't fogure out what it wrong. The MPG always looks fine when I preview it on my computer before burning it to VCD.
Can someone please enlighten me?
Thanks.
