I have a PAL tape and want to convert it to a NTSC format VHS tape. I am pretty new to this and wasn't sure about what converter to buy or if I should have it done professionally. I see this board is mostly for DVD and other digital formats, but I wasn't sure where else to go for help. Thank you for any help you can provide.

First of all you need a VCR, which is capable of PAL playback or a VCR which can input PAL and record NTSC.This can be done by a multinorm VCR.

If you want to do this on regular basis, then a converting VCR (~$500) will do the job along with a regular VCR. For a one tape deal, spend $25.
