  1. The Burning of the VCD on the Computer worked fine, but when I but the VCD in My DVD-Player I get the Message "Disc Error". Here my Configuration:

Encoding Software: TMPEnc (I used the Standard-Configuration for PAL-Files)

    CD-Writer: HP CD-Writer Plus
    Used Software: VCDEasy
    DVD-Player: Toshiba SD-120E
    Used CDs: ACER 650 MB 4x CDRW, SONY 1x - 24x Compatible CD-R 650MB

I burned Adio-CDs with the same kind of CDs. And they work fine on my DVD-Player.

It would be really great if someone could help me

  2. Ummmm, looking at the compatibility chart, it appears that this Toshiba doesn't play CD-Rs or CD-RWs. I guess that's that.

  3. Wait, I completely glossed over the part "plays audio CDs". Well, if that's the case, I'll tell you what I suspect. A problem with the authoring OR a problem with the burning. Not necessarily a problem, but whatever's causing the disc not to play may very well be due to something during these stages.

For authoring, you're using VCDEasy. That's good. I wouldn't recommend anything else. So maybe we can rule that out. Are you burning with VCDEasy? Try CDRWIN. Try Nero. See if they do the same thing. Avoid Easy CD Creator.

  4. I now tried the following other programs for burning:

    CD-Maker, Blindwriter, Nero V5

The Player should be able to play VCDs.
