  1. Hi, everybody,

Does anybody has experience how to convert normal motion video stored in AVI or MPEG file to fast motion video AVI or MPEG file? Does anybody has experience how to make reverse motion video from normal motion video?

    Best regards,
    Guntis.

  2. Do you have access to Adobe Premiere? All these commands can be done by bringing your clip of choice onto the timeline, right-clicking it, and choosing "speed". Speed up or slow down by changing the percentage. To reverse the video, just go -100%. Simple as pie.

Can you do it without Premiere? Probably. Do I know how? Nope.

Sounds to me like he's trying to create a special effect for a movie he's making.

This can also be done in ULead Media Studio Pro. Simply right-click on the video clip in the timeline, then select "Reverse" from the context menu to make the clip go backwards. If you want to change the clip's speed as well, then right-click and select "Speed" from the menu; you can then alter the speed either as a percentage or as a desired time length. (The latter can be especially useful if you're trying to sync things to musical cues; I've put together some MTV-style music videos out of a variety of cartoon clips, and used the "Speed" function to make the characters walk or move to the beat of the music. )
