I have a downloaded movie in xvid (about a boy) and want to convert it to DVD-R. There's a corrupt frame about 40 minutes in, which didn't crash tmpgegenc, but it just continued encoding the last good frame for the rest of the film. running the xvid in vdub, i scan for errors, and it finds 70 odd "bad" frames, and one "undecodable" frame. checking the frames it highlights, the "undecodable" one is the one causing me a problem, and vdub kindly masks it. it also masks the 70 odd "bad" frames as well, which i don't want. i have the frame number of the "undecodable" frame, can i tell vdub to just mask this frame?
next time im just renting the disc from a shop
